Terre des Hommes meets The Human Cannonball
Objective: fundraising.
Assignment: activate Dutch parents and grandparents to provide financial support for the ‘Stop child prostitution in Thailand’ campaign.
Collaboration: with the driven field marketing agency Pepperminds.
Challenge: approach the target group resolutely with enough time to explain why this campaign is important.
Approach: invite the visitor to a busy lifestyle fair (Huishoudbeurs) to step into our coach for a bus tour through Thailand. The tour was captured on screens in the coach. Once arrived in the slums, the tour guide started telling our story. The need for support became overly clear. It was a unique fundraising success. And the Direct Marketing Fundraisers Associattion (DFMA) agreed – it named the campaign the best in 2011.
